The IPSA guidance states that during Dissolution of Parliament, those staff based in Westminster must work in the consitutency and this work must be on local constituency matters and must not be of a party political nature. The guidance states that they may also claim for journeys between their home and the constituency office and if they need to stay overnight in the constituency they may claim for hotels and other subsistence and for journeys into the MPs constituency office. |
